Lately, the digital space has been flooded with sensational, troubling accounts—documents and claims that seek to draw our attention away from the glorious work at hand.

When the darkness of the world seeks to distract us, it often chooses the most dramatic, the most inflammatory, and the most superficially scandalous topics. We see these threads of controversy—whether concerning files, names, or ancient claims—and the natural instinct is to dive into the debate, to argue point by point, to defend every doctrinal boundary.

"And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, and he shall lift up the countenance of Israel, and shall give them peace." (Isaiah 30:15)

But the true work of a Builder is not found in the frantic defense of every detail, but in the steadfast, quiet determination to keep the focus on the divine covenant. We must learn to discern the voice of the Shepherd from the clamor of the marketplace.

The Destroyer’s goal is always distraction. They want us to argue over the specifics, to get bogged down in the minutiae of the 'how' or the 'who,' so that we forget the 'why.' But the Builders, following the pattern set by Abinadi and illuminated by the principles found in the Doctrine and Covenants, know that the Covenant requires us to look past the surface noise and toward the eternal purpose: the Gathering.
