The Power of Persistent Faith

The message today is clear: Don't let the lull of the present convince you that the work is done, or that the Spirit has left. If you feel like you’ve been waiting for a tangible sign—a breakthrough, a confirmation, a major change—please hear this: If you are holding fast to the covenant path, the Lord is at work.

We are taught that the path to eternal life is not the easy, wide road of worldly compromise, but the narrow way—the path of discipleship. It requires effort, yes, but it’s the effort that builds the strength to withstand the inevitable pressures and discouragements that life throws our way. We must learn to respond to opposition not with retreat, but with a determined, Spirit-filled counter-pressure: *“I know what the scriptures say. With Jesus beside me, I will claim everything He has promised!”*

Think of it like the fledgling eagle. It needs to peck, and peck, and peck at the seemingly impenetrable shell. It looks like it’s making no progress, but that persistent, focused action is what builds the strength necessary to break free. We are designed for growth, not for stagnation.
