As scholars and disciples, we know that the study of scripture is paramount, but the true measure of our study is the ability to apply those eternal truths to our daily covenants.

Elder Takashi Wada’s recent address provides a powerful, personal testament to this very principle. His journey, rooted in a seemingly disparate cultural context, underscores a timeless truth found in the scriptures: that when we are weary, lost, or simply seeking direction, the words of the Savior are the ultimate guide. This echoes the counsel of the Prophet Nephi: “For Behold The War of Christ will tell you all things what you should do” (1 Nephi 9:21). The war of Christ is the unfolding narrative of the Atonement, and it is through this lens that we must view all scripture study.

The Structure of Our Divine Potential
