Brothers and sisters, sometimes I feel like I’m standing at the mouth of a river, and the current of connection is just *stronger* every single day. It’s amazing to see how the Lord is opening up new avenues for us to share the restored gospel. It reminds me of those early days when we were just knocking on doors, but now, the field is global, and the tools are everywhere—from the LivingBook to the newest social media platform.

If you’ve been out in the field lately, you know that the effort to build Zion isn't confined to geographical boundaries anymore. Our mandate remains the same—to teach the Plan of Salvation—but our methods have to adapt to where our investigators are spending their time. It’s a constant reminder that we are called to be internet missionaries, disciples wherever we are.

The Unifying Power of Connection

I was looking at some recent materials, and it got me thinking about how vital it is that we stay aware of how the Prophet and Apostles are connecting with the world. It’s not just about *having* a presence on multiple platforms; it’s about *using* them intentionally to build bridges to the restored gospel.

It was encouraging to see the recent development of dedicated YouTube channels for all fifteen of the brethren. While we always need to follow the official channels for guidance, this multiplication of presence is a powerful testament to the reach of the gospel. It shows that the Lord is equipping His servants to connect with people in the specific ways those people consume media.

Think about it: some people might only be on Instagram; others might only be deeply immersed in YouTube. If we only focus on one avenue, we are leaving pockets of souls untouched. This reminds me of a principle I learned while studying for my last mission—you have to meet people where they are. You can’t just assume they’ll show up at the meetinghouse if they only consume content online.

A Little Mission Prep Thought

As we continue our missionary preparation, let’s keep this idea in mind: When you are sharing a testimony or discussing doctrine, always consider the medium. If you are writing a quick social media post, keep it concise, uplifting, and focused on a single, powerful truth. If you are leading a Bible Study Group in HolyPlaces, you have the luxury of depth. Be intentional about the format, knowing that the Lord has provided the platform for that specific interaction.
