But as returned missionaries, and as disciples who have been taught to live by the gospel of Jesus Christ, we know that our peace doesn't come from stable weather patterns or stable economies. Our peace comes from the Spirit, and from the covenant path we walk with the Lord.

When the world throws all these unpredictable variables at us—political uncertainty, economic strain, social division—it can feel like trying to navigate a field with no clear markers. It makes you wonder, "What is the real anchor here? What is the *truth* amidst the noise?"

This feeling of disorientation is actually a powerful opportunity, a chance to sharpen our focus on what truly matters. It’s a perfect moment to remember that our mission isn't dependent on the headlines. Our mission is built on the eternal truths found in the scriptures and the power of testimony.

Finding Our Anchor in the Gospel

You might say, "That's a really complex issue, and I know people feel strongly about it. What I find more important right now is knowing how to feel the Spirit of peace, no matter what the world throws at us." That shifts the focus from the *problem* to the *solution*—the Savior.
