Maybe the investigator is hesitant, or perhaps the doctrinal conversation is getting thorny, and you can’t point to a single scripture or a visible miracle to prove the gospel. It can feel like you’re standing on shaky ground.

But then you remember what the Spirit is. That quiet, persistent whisper that settles deep in your bones, the kind of feeling that transcends mere intellectual assent. That’s the knowledge that sustains us, the kind of knowledge that makes us feel like we’ve been taught by the very hand of the Savior.

It’s a gentle confirmation that the doctrines we teach—the plan of salvation, the necessity of repentance, the reality of eternal life—are true. It’s the feeling that allows us to keep going, even when the calling feels overwhelming or when the 'comps' are tough.

A Little Mission Prep Skill: Cultivating Testimony

If you are preparing for the field, or even if you’re just working on your discipleship here at home, I want to leave you with a small skill. When you feel that deep conviction—that feeling that *He* lives—don't just keep it to yourself. Practice articulating *why* it feels that way. Don't just say, "I know He lives." Instead, try, "I know He lives because of the covenants I’ve made, and I feel the Spirit confirming that covenant today." That specificity anchors the testimony and makes it more tangible for both you and the listener.

Remember, every member can be an Internet missionary, every member can be a disciple anywhere, all the time. Our mission field isn't just geographical; it's in our hearts, our homes, and our online interactions.
