I was thinking the other day about a video I watched. It showed missionaries in a city, and the questions they fielded were a mix of curiosity, skepticism, and sometimes, outright misunderstanding. It really struck me how much the outside world *expects* us to be something we aren't—or worse, something we are but aren't.

For example, if they ask, “Why do you dress like that?” you could smile and say, “We dress this way because we want to honor the message we share—the message of Jesus Christ.”
