Brothers and sisters, as we continue to press forward in the work, we are constantly reminded that the power we need for the field—the power to bear testimony, the power to endure rejection, the power to feel the Spirit when the odds are stacked against us—doesn't come from flashy displays or worldly assurances. It comes from covenants.

I was watching something the other day, and it got me thinking about the difference between *belief* and *covenant*. We are taught in our scriptures, and reinforced through our study in the temple, that our protection and our strength come from keeping the covenants we make with Heavenly Father.
