He gives us manageable pieces of knowledge, and He asks us to steward them faithfully. It reminds me of a principle we often discuss in missionary discussions: just because we don't know *everything* about the plan of salvation, doesn't mean we can't share the *most* important things.

He reminds us that while our understanding is limited, we are given specific, significant responsibilities—both the creations of God and the creations of man. We are called to teach, to testify, and to help others understand the core truths of the Gospel. We can't wait for the 'full dispensation' to feel important; our discipleship *is* the preparation!

This isn't just about knowing facts; it’s about knowing *how* to live the gospel so that when the Lord does come, we are ready to meet Him—and to help others meet Him. It requires us to be diligent students of the scriptures and humble learners from the Spirit.

A great skill I’ve found helpful for my own preparation is anticipating the 'why' behind the investigator's skepticism. When we talk about eternal progression, someone might ask, "Why can't we just get to heaven by being good?" Instead of just reciting doctrine, think about the *principle* of agency. It turns a defensive moment into a teaching moment.
