But the Spirit whispers a deeper truth: life is not a series of parallel tracks; it is a weave.

Brother Nelson wisely points us toward synergy—the merging of strengths across seemingly disparate areas. He reminds us of Nephi’s counsel: “I did liken all scriptures unto us, that it might be for our profit and learning” (1 Nephi 19:23). This is the pattern for our lives, isn't it?
