I was recently reflecting on some powerful conversations, hearing accounts from people who have walked through deep spiritual questioning. What struck me, and what has really made me pause and pray, is the consistent theme of divine prompting. It’s not always a booming voice from the heavens, is it? Sometimes, it’s a dream, a vision, or a persistent thought that keeps circling back to the same truth.

In the Church, we talk so much about the power of the Spirit—and we should! But sometimes we think the Spirit only speaks in dramatic pronouncements, like a full vision during a temple endowment. While those are glorious gifts, the Spirit is so much more nuanced. It’s the gentle conviction, the nudge toward scripture study, the sudden clarity during a missionary discussion that helps you see the Gospel truth shining through the cultural noise.

I was listening to an account where the speaker mentioned that for many who have questioned their faith, the initial touchpoint was a dream. And what were these dreams about? Often, it was Jesus. Not just a general feeling of peace, but specific instructions: *“Go to this store. Meet this man. Talk to him.”*

When you pray, don't just ask, "Please help me share the Gospel." Try praying, "Spirit, what is one specific thing I can do this week—one person I can talk to, one scripture I can focus on—that will help me share the Gospel?"

It trains your ear and your heart to listen for the *actionable* guidance. It moves us from passive reception to active discipleship.
