I was trying to impress the investigator with my own merits.

The message we hear echoing across the decades, from the early pioneers to the modern-day Internet missionary, is beautifully simple: what does the Lord actually see? It’s not the brand names, the zip codes, or the titles we carry. It’s the heart.
