Die Konishi Koi Farm blickt mittlerweile auf eine über achtzigjährige Geschichte zurück. Heute wird sie von Joji Konishi, dem dritten Präsidenten, geführt. Konishi befindet sich an zwei Standorten. Zum einen in den Bergen Hiroshimas, wo auf der Farm die Zucht und Aufzucht der einjährigen Koi stattfindet. Auf einem Areal von 50 Hektar befinden sich über 80 Naturteiche, die der Aufzucht der Babykoi vom Zeitpunkt des Schlupfes an dienen. Die sechs Glashäuser werden im Frühjahr für die Zucht und in den Herbst und Wintermonaten für die Überwinterung der Koi benötigt.
