1. Sign In and Locate the Tree: Start by logging into your FamilySearch account and navigating to the Family Tree button.
2. Use the ‘Find’ Function: Do not jump straight to the general search box. Instead, look for the ‘Find’ function within the drop-down menu.
3. Input the Name: Whether you received the name through a dream or a sudden thought, enter it. Don’t worry if you don't have birth dates or locations—the name itself is the initial key.
4. Trace the Connection: Once the system pulls up potential matches, click on the name and use the ‘View Relationship’ feature. This allows you to see if the person is related to you, thus making them a potential candidate for temple work.
